Chapter One
It’s been over 100000 years since the great Human, Gnoll war started. With the humans stationed in Asgernod and gnolls in Velinel. Each side believing that they were they superior being. Expect in the Martelo Woods, were gnoll and humans live in harmony. That is where our story begins with the boy named Izel. Izel was one of the Woods greatest warriors defeating monster after monster, with the help of his best friend Nakiu the archer. One day wile searching the woods for monsters.
“What’s that?”
It was a mermaid floating down the river. She seemed to be hurt and with mermaids on the decline they two of them knew they needed the help of the best healer they could think of, Princess Nami. The mermaid had three claw-like marks on its stomach, they looked very deep to Izel he know that she needed help quickly or she might not make it. Luckily no monsters appeared on the way to Nami’s house, once they got to Nami’s house she healed the mermaid the best she could, there was a glowing scar were the claw makes were. After an hour the mermaid, Marbel, awoke and told Izel, Nakiu, and Nami about what happened to her. Her land had been ravaged by a strange creature called the Caruken, it closely resembles what people on earth call the loch Ness Monster but instead of flippers it has claws and is about five times larger. Marbel asked if Izel and Nakiu would go to the ruins of Asner and retrieve the sacred treasure inside. The two of them accepted the task, Nami stayed be hide to try to heal Marbel’s wounds. And so the adventure begins.

Chapter Two
“Hi, it’s Izel I’ll be narrating the story from now.”
To get to The Ruins of Asner Nakiu and I had to go through three boarder cites, Isnel, Nisra, and Sola. Isnel was already behind us Next was Nirsa City of thieves, Great name isn’t it. For now I knew we wouldn’t have any problems, being without and treasure and little money. But it wasn’t one of the places you’d go sightseeing, so we got out of there ASAP. Half way between Nirsa and Isnel Nakiu said that we should setup camp, I wanted to keep going but I had to admit I was getting tiered too. Well why don’t I tell you a little about me. My name is Izel Feiro, I’m 13 years old. Some people call me determined but most call me stubborn. I hate taking no for an answer, I’m not originally from the Martelo Forest were I’m from I don’t know. Nakiu and I met when we were 5 we’ve been best friends since. The two of us joined the Martelo Protection Force 4 years ago. Now I know what you’re thinking people are sending 9 year olds to fight, what are they crazy?! Well most forest people are ready to fight by age 6. We start training at7 years old, most people start at 4 years old. That should be enough for now. See you later.

Chapter Three
Well we made it to The Ruins of Asner and got through most of it without any sight of monsters. Monsters are more common in ruins like this there are usually to many monsters to set up a barrier. The barriers are meant to protect a city from monsters, there are two kinds of barriers the ones created by the gnolls and by the humans, I’ll tell you more about those later, because it looks like we made it to the treasure chamber. The minute we opened the door we were greeted by a savage shadow gnoll. Nakiu got in the first hit; he kept the gnoll distracted for a while I got behind it and tried to stab its back. It saw me, it punched me and sent me flying into a wall. I think I broke my ankle so it was up to Nakiu, this could be bad Nakiu is extremely bad at close range, good luck.
Well Nakiu didn’t last long, one hit and he was out cold. What happened next I still find it hard to believe. Right before the beast was about to finish me off I saw was a white blur and then I fainted. When I woke up I was in the Isnel Hospital. The doctor said that I could leave at anytime, so I went exploring around the city When we pasted it before Nakiu and I didn’t pay attention to what was in the city. Well what matters now is that I’m in Isnel the City of Guilds, and I had to find Nakiu.


Chapter Four


“Now if I remember correctly the item shop should be in the east part of town.”
Nakiu and I decided if we were ever split up in a city we would go to the item shop.
“Izel! There you are!” I’d know that voice anywhere it was Nakiu. “I was starting to worry if you’d ever come out of the hospital”
“How long was I in there?” a pretty stupid question I know but I had to be asked.
“You don’t know? You were in there for two weeks.”Nakiu said with a smile.
“OK really how long was I in there?”
“What you don’t trust me? Izel I’m hurt”
“There’s the theatrical Nakiu that I somewhat despise. Now just answer the question.”
“Three days.” Now that was a voice that I did not expect to here in Isnel.

Chapter five

“Nami!? What are you doing here!?”
“Marbel finally got enough energy to heal her-self so I thought I should try to ketch up to you guys and help out, and it looks like I came at a great time.”
“What about the treasure Marbel wanted!?”
“You mean this pendant?” Nami said with this stupid grin on her face.
After about a minute of awkward silence later .
“When did you get that!?” I was apparently yelling that and didn’t relies.
Nami said her “hurt phrase” .
“Shut up!” and then came the punch in the gut.
“OW! I hate it when you do that”
“Would you rather me drag you back to the forest by your ear again?” she said with that grin .
“Grrrr. No. Let’s just go.”
“Man, it’s great watching you two lovebirds fight.” Nakiu said as a reflex Nami and I yelled.
“WHAT DID YOU SAY!?” Soon after Nakiu got a good beating.
After we were convinced Nakiu learned his lesson of now we headed out to the forest.
